I could go for a 'lude right now... but not a f*cking honda. Heh. Don't get your panties all up in a bunch on account of smoking some sheisse car from nippon. Come on. The cars are in completely different classes (apples and oranges, right). You like drag racing, go hit up test and tune, then run in the brackets. Beat yourself. Be consistent. Know yourself and your car. Besides, at the strip, you can race preludes or vettes or all sorts of sweet cars, cars which may be way faster. Then it comes down to the driver. That is what its all about. And we all know that bimmers are drivers cars.

my volvo sucked as far as consistancy went.. i was pretty steady.. but i could never dial in a good time for it.. that is the reason i got rid of it.. as far as the vtec kicking in, i've never heard of that happining.. now maybe your tubo kicked in at that rpm.. 2000 rpm is some serious lag tho dude.. and also like i said if you were putting out 350 at the wheels your trans would not take it....

your right my tranyy didnt take it along with my motor mounts my tranny housing broke and came free from the rar mount and snapped of 2 bolts in the wholes i pulled the tranny and drill out the broken one and drilled the holes bigger and re tapped em and put it back together and its was good for bout a week then i raced a 99 v6 camro who thought he was tought and it happened aGain all bolts sheared off and this time it broke my flex pipe and my motor mounts went it was so bad that when my engine torqued my intake manifold slammed against the firewall

and do some reasearch before you doubt me look for a vtec controller you can make your vtech kick in at any rpm you ***ing want that wat a vtec controller is all about i had mine kick in at 2000 im sick of people thinking i m lying your just like all the people in their camaros and firebirds ah you can beat me you have a 4 cycl ok lets go it just sux now that i dont have my car to baqck it up any more but i am working getting pics

The reason why some people hate honda's is because those damn ricers fags put some clear lights (the ugly ass ones)on their car. Add some s$$$y sounding exhaust and they think they have a car that can outrun anything. This goes for all other cars too not just hondas. Hondas do not bother me, heck I think they make a good car. At least you did have a fast one, bmwhighrolla. Just the other day on the way home from work. I was going down i-95 and some guy comes up to me in a newer Eclipse with the V-6. He trying to get me to race him. Of course he had his aftermarket eight different color tail lights and some lovely sounding exhaust. That can only be described as two bumble bee humping in a tin can. So I dropped her down in 4th gear and let him have it. It was awesome. I HATE RICERS!!!!

Eclipse vs M3? Man, that's priceless like a mastercard commercial. What are people thinking? The things that kills me about the ricers, is they take a car that's worth maybe $4,000, put $20,000 or more into making it the ultimate rice, then still end up with a crappy/ugly car. Take that money, buy a used M3, tweak a couple things for not tooo much, and end up with a luxury sports car, with actual quality. A Honda with 20 grand in mods is still a honda.

every thing is done for a reason on my cars... my lude i have now is completly stock i a buying a wingwest ground effects kit because i want to keep it stock but it supposly gives the car more down force.....

and those shity fart cans they actually drain horse power lol go figure...

its not just people in ricers either tho *** heads with probes too pos. some kid pulled up next to me one day whe i just left work so my car was cold and no vtec and car reved at 6500 when car isint warm this is before turbo and ecu and injectors and before venow intake manifold so he revs it i look at him laughing he wont look at me you know he was ashamed so we go and i blew his doors off with no vtec and shiftin at 6000 hah pos

o guess what got my m3 front end today fiberglass!!!!!!!!!!!! all i need is mirrors and then a 6 spd trannt and rear but thatsdown the road does anybody have m3 oem mirrors for sale e36 gotta keep it real

bmwhighrolla, you have got me so confused with everything you have said I don't know up from down. You have nailed some things on the head. But others just aren't jiving. You said your lude was turbo then it wasn't turbo you listed in all your mods that you had DC 4-2-1 headers when it was turbo. You have to have a custom exhaust manifold when you go turbo.
You said your car handled great like duct tape stuck to the road. Mine did too. But light wheels and lowering springs don't make a lude handle good. I had 17" Tenzo R Shu 4's with Perrelli P-Zero's, Tein adjustable coilovers, Larger sway bars and strut bars I had way over 2,000 just in parts alone for the suspension and another 1,300 in wheels and tires. Now if you had some really sticky rubber on your tires that would help out alot. With my suspension mods that cars handling totally changed and could stay up with just about any car you threw at it in the corners.
I had most of all the performance mods you listed also but no turbo or nos. I did really like the V-afc (vtec controller). I also had my engangement set around 2,000 rpms. I never got my tires to spin though when vtec engaged. I hit low 13's with the lude also. With nos I could have been low 12's You also said your lude when turbo had vtec. From my experience that motor has to have the compression lowered to safely run turbo. The Si motor was much more suited to turbo's. Anyway glad you got it to work and had a fast car. I would really like to see the pic's your talking about and the pic's of your current lude for sale.

i did have a turbo exhaust manifold sorry if i explained something wrong i got hot headed and started typeing faster than my mind could think you need s custom one because the whole turbo runs off your exhaust.

before i turboed i was runing bigger injectors i forget the psi venum intake manifold aem cold air intake j spec ecu vtec controller dc 421 headers msd ignition hi flow cat greddy evo 2 exhaust and my interior was gutted except for drivers seat and steering wheel. i didnt have the power lights on at this time i had msr 17x 7.5 i know the lighter you go the less traction you get this is why my tires spun but i have no idea why it handled so dam good it just did the h22 isnt a big motor its smaller than the si but i just did i can explain it that took any turn at any speed i took no push no wheel squeel it just stuck

after i turboed i look for the heaviest front mount i could get but that was un succesfull as they still dont weight that much i wanted to get as much down force as i could

the broken exhaust thing happen to both after i rebuilt it i put those hyper flex mounts in it would hold it in ater turboing i dont think anything would of held that in... the good thing was the tranny took it but the housing couldnt after turboing it got so bad my intake manifold hit the fire wall

i also had larger dc sway bars along with dc front upper rear upper strut tower and along with tokico shocks and springs

and i never had nos i would never put that in any of my cars i think its for pussies i was just stating a point

and the vtec turbo issue thats why i said it was bull that that person from pittsburg came by 3 its near impossible from what i under stood i was the only one over here with in a couple 100 miles that had a vtec h22 turboed it is so rare and so hard to do it was rarely done...but it is possible as my car was living proof it took a couple of tries blocks rods and alot of money but i got it... my friend also turboed his vtec sohc engine so he had some experience with vtec turboing so he helped its almost the same but twice the engine lol

i am working on a design to twin turbo my 323is but i dont think its gonna happen because the damn thing keeps breaking on me!! our project were working on now is turboing a b18 integra port and polished head and all top of the line sht. itll be quick but not prelude material... i heard my engine is bouncing around from person to person but i have no proof its all hear say the last thing i heard it was traded for 3 integras a 95 limited 92 gsr i beleive and a reg 93 a$$holes!!! ill get it back eventually then ill put it in my lude i got now with the automatic tranny but ima turn the psi down as far as i can just to hear the blowoff because we converted that other civic vtec to auto from 5spd and its just eating up trannys

there are 3 turbo ludes around here that i know about.. a funky looking color green one with a big fmic that you can see trough the grill... a really nice clean slate blue one (this one os pretty fast) anda white one that i only saw once.. i heard he blew his motor.. the blue one is a fixture at the hot import nights at pittsburgh park race way he runs low 12. high 11's from what my friend said who built it so i guess i do know of an 11 second lude.... i think the guy who owns it is named Rich Healy

dude you live in reading i used to live in reading now i live in bumbles ***... you ad to of seen my car around red 95 with black leather bb4 one peice headlights and black tails limo tint on the window?? now i still have a 92 si lude auto si race purple i drive around with rip jesse waid on the bak window. i put black leather in that too... whos candyapple7? i dont know anyone off the topof my head with a cady apple red car if that is what it stands for

and you got 2 bimmers and live in reading?? i would never take any of my cars into ready let alone 2 bimmers roads are horible my new bimmer i bent 2 rims already going in there once in a while and my prelude i bent one of my powerlights if the roads were good it wouldnt matter but they are horrible hwhere you live on hampton? or in the city?

A twin turbo 323is would be in Z06 territory, let alone a prelude...
