"What about cars, I tell you that old car that you have bought yourself is better than brand new one that your parents gave you,"

First off I'm not being hostile, and his statement (above) was NOT sophisticated. It look like it was written by someone who is just learning to speak english. If he is then I appolgize, but otherwise, my statement still stands.
English is my third language. Please point me at the grammar and/or spelling mistakes I did in the sentence that you quoted so I learn this wonderful language better, thank you.

The "What about cars" part doesn't scan well, and I would write "...is better than 'the' brand new one..." . Other than that it made sense, and it was a decent point, so I don't know what the big deal is.

Most Americans can't communicate using the english language very effectively, and this is exponentially worse on the internet (see 'bmwhighrolla' for reference). If English is your third language, then I would say you are doing an excellent job.

And this thread is teh suck. :p

I don't know what is so hard to understand, a high school parking lot full of ignorant ricers does not destroy an innovative company with a serious performance commitment, and I thought I addressed the issue in several threads with him in the past, but at least he is trying.
Uhm...yeah, no it doesn't destroy "an innovative company," but you cannot deny that it severely damages Honda's brand image, especially with individuals / enthusiasts who have a fair amount of money to spend. I think this is the cruz of the dispute: Honda makes a great poduct, but because one of their target market groups has such an influence on other consumers, most people associate that target market group with the product, and in this case it takes away from the brand image.
