Spark plug , Cia question

I just purchased a set of Denso iridium plugs for a 94 325i. It has been a while
since I have pulled plugs on any car. I purchased a repair manual for the 325
also. Is this something that is out of the realm of the do-it-yourselfer, or should I give it a shot? I read the gap for this year is .035, but
that was for a Champion plug. Would it be the same for Denso?
Second, I had the Turner CIA intake installed on my car. Was the air box that
the old filter was in also where the cabin air filter was, or is there another
location for this?
Finally, any advice on fuel filters? I have some hesitation around 3000rpm,
and wanted to change the fuel filter as the first step.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

This is most certainly a do-it-yourself job! The gaps for the denso plugs are the same (.35). That gap is pretty much for any plug brand.

If by cabin air filter you mean A\C microfilter, then yes it is in a different location. This is located under the right foot well.

If the car was serviced with the regular inspection intervals, the fuel filter should have been replaced. Has the check engine light come on during the miss?

I'm pretty sure all the plugs for our BMW's come pre-gapped. I got the Bosch Platinum +4's and you just pop them right in -- no adjustments at all. You can definitly do the plug job yourself, it's VERY easy and should be covered exacly in your repair manuel that you purchased.

The cabin filter is completely different from the engine intake filter. The cabin filter is actually inside the car way behind the center console. You have to remove the glovebox to get to it, but that is pretty easy to do as well, just a few screws and you can pop the glovebox out in no time.

For the fuel filters I would stick to Bosch or some other BMW OE manufacturer, don't cheap out on it. The fuel filter is a bitch to get to, lots of feeling around with your fingers and not much in the way of stuff you can actually see. The repair manuel should give you a good idea of what to do. For this job it might be a good idea to have a 2nd person with you to hold a flashlight or something, can never hurt.

Good luck with everything and have fun working on your Bimmer!

I got the plugs in ( with the new Turner chip and CIA O.M.G.... The beast is alive)
I am having trouble getting to the A/C micro filter. Could you help with some directions?
I don't want to yank on any kick panels or anything that might not need to be removed.
Thanks again for all the great help.
