first of all, hi to you all!! i´m new to the forum and i have got a speaker problem... as i was replacing my original E36 4" back speakers, i noticed one of them did not work.
At first, i thought it would be because they were burned out but as a installed the new ones, i still got no sound output from the rear passanger 4in speaker, only from the tweeter eventhough the other side works fine.
Just to be shure, i switched the speakers from left to right and the not working one worked just fine... so, i guess the only conclusion i could make is that i´ve got a problem on my amplifier...
Does anyone know if there is a way to fix it, or should i just buy a new one? can anyone help me in this matter? sorry about english incorrections, i live in Brazil and our only dealer in Rio de Janeiro could not locate the problem. They want to charge me a thousand dollars just to dismantal radio + amp and locate the problem, what i feel is extraordinary high.
I guess since the tweeter is working, there is no problem in the radio right? (because it sends output)
