Nah it's all good. Fixed it myself.
Went an got a new (used) motor for it, got it home, and it was the wrong one. Was basically the same, but a few of the wire connections were different.
Anywas, I noticed that the pring-coil type thing that moves with the cog piece had a few pieces squashed together. So the cog wasn't able to get in between and turn. Just sat there unable to move in either direction. So I just grabbed a flat-head screwdriver, seperated the coil-spring thingy's, and presto ... it works !
Then took back the other motor, and got a refund.
