I'm experiencing something srange....When I start the car up my temp indicator(outside, not the coolant) starts off at -40C and as I drive off, it slowly climes up to the correct temperature (takes about a good 15 minutes). When I shut her down It decreases back to -40, not right away though. If she sits for 10 minutes it'll start from around -10C. If she sits for an hour it'll go back to -40C. So it's not like it resets itself to -40C when I turn off the ignition. Has anyone experienced this, ever? What the hell should I look for? [80?]

That is the outside temp probe. Sounds like it is either loose or bad. If it is disconnected it will display -40 which is the lowest point. When connected, it takes time to come up to normal temp (this is normal when first connected but should be instant from then on). It is located in front of the right front tire behind the wheel well. You'll need to get up under there and remove the wheel well guard in the front of the right tire. It is actually clamped on to the well guard/sheild. There is a place for it. It is towards the inside of the well. Check to see if the wires are loose. If you can't tell, it's only like $35 US to replace I think. I did mine. It was easy and works fine now. You have the exact same car so I'd recommend you do it for cheap. You should not have to take the tire off or even jack up the car.

Sometimes it can be knocked loose if you scrape a curb when parking or something due to it's location.
