Tire Size for a 2003 BMW330I

howdy
for early 2003 330i models an 18inch wheel (same as the performance package) was available...but in late 2003, after march sometime, they make only the 17inch wheels 225/45zr front and 245/40zr rear available as the most low profile tire available....I think they did this simply to draw even more of a distinction between the sport and the performance package...I wanted the 18inch wheels too, but I did not want to pay $4,000.oo for them
