Found my replacement E36 for the one that got totaled in a wreck 3 weeks ago...
1997 328is Black/Grey, 5-speed, 69K miles, $13,500

I think I got a heck of a deal, the guy needed to get rid of it by this Friday so we bargained with him. I pick it up Wednesday, I'll snap some pics when I get it. It may have turned out for the best (as wrong as this sounds) about the wreck, I went from a 1996 with 81K to a 1997 with 69K

I second that, sounds like you got an Awsome deal. Sorry your origional car got wrecked....but sounds like things turned out good in the long run.....you want to hear a sad story, my boss just bought his teen daughter a Tracker, she hydroplaned this weekend and rolled it, on the way to the accident site, his wife going to meet at the crash scene rolled her vehicle also. What are the odds of that. They are all OK, the Tracker is wasted, they have no full coverage on it....bummer, he just bought it, his wifes SUV is probably going to be totaled as well. Talk about the odds of that happening.....glad they are OK.

Yea, did suck to hear that from the boss. Glad his daughter and wife are OK. Odds of that happening are a million to one. Us being in the military take care of each other. Just hard to go back to work and hear the story. Not only is my boss active duty military, he is a reserve cop as well and has to deal with crashes alot. Imagine coming back from a hunting trip....finding out your daughter rolled her vehicle and his wife rolled hers on the way to the crash site. True story. [:(]

Amazing that they're OK after the accidents, very lucky, God was on their side that day.
Military seems like the tightest of bonds, just like a big family. My uncle who was in Vietnam still keeps in touch with a few friends and he is very hurt whenever someone he served with is in the obituaries.
