A couple nights ago I parked my 96 Bmw 328is in my driveway and woke up the next morning only to see it smashed into a tree at the bottom end of my driveway. Although it was on flat ground and yet in nuetral, the E brake was not fully engaged. Word of advice, never trust the E brake! Kinda weird i bought the car Dec 28th 2002, and it was totaled dec 28th 2005. Maybe thats a sign.. M3??? [?|]

I always park a manual transmission car in 1st or reverse. In some states the law actually states this.

My daughter parked the 325i a few weeks ago with the brake on and not in gear, I told her something like this could happen. Now I have evidence to show her.

I usually parked my car in a gear, but since i was at my house and since the car was on a flat surface with a slight slope asbout 8 feet infront, and the e brake atleast half way, also i tested my ebrake after the car was wrecked and had it all the way up, and it still rolled forward on a slight slance. ohwell
