traction control?

i have a 93 325is, does my car have traction control or does it depend on what options the car has? how can i tell?

I believe that there is a button by the Heated seats that shows it. If you find only two buttons there that's just for heated seats, then you don't have it.

i dont think i have heated seats unless there are buttons somewhere that i'm missing, If not then im pretty sure dont have either. Thanks

aditionally you can tell if you have it or nor when you start th car and the ASC light goes on.it is ayellow triangle with an arrow circling the triangle. it located here:

in E36 cars, ASC became standard from 1996 on, you may have it, but it was optional

thanks for the help guys. Im ordering a srtut bar and it said it would only work on the models without traction control, i guess its for me then

?? i just can´t find the link between a strut bar and the ASC?? who is the manufacturer who is the manufacturer of that part?

THe link between the strut bar and traction control is that the unit (ASC) is in the way of the strut bar. They moved it in '96. If you do have traction control and want a strut bar, there are once that go around the unit or you can just relocate the unit itself (people have done that).
