Any mechanically inclined individuals who know anything abou the black trim strips above the windows on my '95 m3??? they were faded and the coating was chipped so I was told to replace them. my bodyshop guy said they should snap right on-amke a long stroy short, they did, but not all the way. they appear to be "bottomed out" and won't budge even with a cloth wrapped wedge and a mallet, but they're definetly not where they should be. Could the weatherstripping be interfering wiht the fit? I noticed it apeared to sag when I took the old strips off. If anyone has ever replaced these seemingly insignifigant things HELP?
