Do any of you know of salvage yards in upstate NY (around Albany) that may have parts for a 1993 bmw 325i? I need a couple interior parts:

Front passenger's side speakers and Front driver's side power window complete metal assembly (excluding motor and glass...Just the metal components).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Take care,
Mike

Im not sure about upstate New York...

why don't you look into getting some new after market speakers since your going to open the door to replace the bads one any way.

no sence in putting other used speakers in after all that work. im pretty sure http://www.crutchfield.com and teeter both carry speakers that will fit the e36

Actually, I remember someone saying that crutchfield said a stock e36 has pretty good speakers and without replacing the head unit, it would be completely pointless to replace the speakers, or something close to that. About the junk yards, try searching google or something, I would think they are hard to find since I don't usually see any BMWs when I go somewhere upstate (usually Kingston and Andes).

I spent a few years in Saratoga.
BEST is West Side Auto, Exit 18 off 87 take a left towards West Mtn., they are on right.
Get in good with owner! Should be 40 yrs. old or so by now. You'll see an out doorsey technical kind of guy (Mtn. bike/ski kind)
Build up a rapport! Bring coffee-whatever.
I dealt with him (Mike?- not sure-don't quote me) for years, was able to walk the MILES of cars.
VERY fair pricing, lots to choose from.
I don't know what he has for BMW parts though.
Second choice would be Ringer's in Hudson Falls.
Funny-I was just talking with my wife last night about them! (I just bought a battery and alternator new-OUCH!)
Good luck!
