Want 2000 interior lights in my '95-How?

The 2000 3 series has a nice red glow just behind mirror. Is it possible to put that in a '95 ?
Does anyone know what I mean? Should I go to dealer?

Have you got any pictures? I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about but if you could give me a better idea I could possibly come up with some solutions...

there are red LED's located in the overhead console in front of the sunroof on E46's (and all other new models) that subtly illuminate the shifter area... I would think that it would be a pretty tedious job but it could be done... just get the LED's and poke some holes in your existing console plastic.. connecting them to power source would be the tricky part

Stupenal-it did help, but seems like more than I want to do. Thanks though (how the hell did you find that?!)
Anyway... I will check w/dealer maybe I can buy the small panel and run pwer from the map lights.
I'll keep you posted.
