what is this and do i have it????

"Rollover Pkg" this is listed as an option when you go to price out your car like in Blue Book or NADA, i just don't know what it is. Is it like a "roll bar" cause i've never seen a bmw with a roll bar.

also, how do i know whether or not i have that on my car? or is it something that if you don't know what it is then you probably don't have it? thanks guys!

Just a guess, but maybe it's the airbags that pop out on top of the doors?

most likely it is something that if you don't know what it is then you probably don't have it

It was an option that I have on my 328IC, when the car senses a rollover, two small roll over bars behind the back seats come up. Hope this helps.

These are the pop up bars, under the plastic covers, behind the rear head rests.
I do have a story, A German friend of a friend borrowed his '98 M3. The next morning they found the car with the bars deployed thru the plastic rear window. Musta' been some ultimate driving experience!
