What's the Difference?

Just considering my options still. I haven't determined if my alternator is bad or not. However, i want to see the difference between an 80Amp and 140Amp alternator. The prices are a little different. However, i want to know which one to get if i was to get one.

the 140 ampere alt produces more current. you only need more current if you plan on putting in amplifiers for an after market sound system, or something that draws more current than your car actually needs, ie lights, accesories/heated seats etc. if you are planning on staying stock, then the 80 ampere alt is prolly fine.
