Wheel noise while braking

Hey guys! Been awhile since I last posted. Anyway, I've got a question that I think I know the answer to, but want to ask to make sure.

Just now I was parking on an incline (with the front of the car towards the lowering of the road) when I moved my wheels to the right (while braking). It made a sound similar to rubbing in the front.

Now, I know ABS doesn't do its thing under 2 MPH (was it?) but wouldn't that mean I wouldn't be able to move the front wheels at a stop while braking? Or was this noise just normal, and ABS doing its thing? And would it even make a difference whether I was on an incline or even road?

The reason I'm not sure is because I only remember doing this with the parking brake on as opposed to just using the braking pedal. Thanks!

I believe it is normal. My car does the same thing when on an incline. I thinks it helps the wheels catch better. I was initially confused the first cpl of times it did it, but then realized that it was prolly normal.
