wheel offsets

what kind of offsets can i put on my E36 328iS.

my current wheels 46mm

could i go to like 41 and be ok? or like 35

I think its 38mm Dan. 41mm just means more lip over 46mm. Your main concern should still be the width of the rims.

so as long as they are same lug pattern, and under 9" in the back and 8" in the front?

If you keep it at or above 38mm then you can probably go with those sizes without any problem. I wouldn't recommend anything over 18" though. What rims were you looking at?

I personally like the second ones. I got my rims from AAA, call them, they will let you know if they will bolt on perfect. They have great customer service.

Rims are a major investment so make sure you like the ones you pick. Personally I do not like the Coutours, but that is just me, I liked the E46 ones I got better.

Take your time and have someone photoshop some pics for you with all the rims though, will help you with your decision.

i agree with the previous two comments. I can't say i'm a super big m-contours fan, but i do like them. i am partial to either of the first two. I think i will PS them onto my car this weekend, though i do not have to make my choice until spring.
