im new, i own a 84' 528e and i have just bought a 92' 325is. i have done all the work to both these cars my self but i still have alot to learn about these amazing machines. im trying like im sure many of you to make my e36 have as much power as possible with spending as little $$ as possible since i am a freshman in college and the budget is limited.
i have been looking at intakes for the e36 and i have a question. i have been looking at the two tyes of cone intakes, one has a short little nub and on has a bit long pipe that looks like it would reach down intot he ingen. i figure that the one which reacheds down the engin e would grab more cooler air but it seems it would restrict air flow. then there is the european ram air box. that i have seem at www.korman.com which looks (as it is advertised) to give quite abit of hp and tourque ... what do you guys think.
also any feeedback about computer chips would be apperciated
