94' 325is. Bought it with 112K Miles. I now have 144K Miles on it. Replaced the following

Radiator
Water pump
Thermostat and housing
Belts
Belt tensioners
O2 sensor
Muffler
Cats
All gaskets in/around head
All gaskets in/around block
VANOS unit
Hydraulic Lifters

Soon to gets all new rotors and pads.

Needless to say, I love my BMW, I've done so much work simply because I love the hell out of this baby. With good reason as all of you obviously understand.

96 328ia

owned for a year with 96k on it.

door handle repaired
power steering hose
speakers of course

that's it so far, i just did my 90k mile service not too long ago and my car runs like new. interior is perfect, paint job is great, there weren't any unusual repairs needed at the servicing. my old 92 325 on the other hand,.... that's another story. very similar to what has already been posted earlier.

That's kilometers, I believe that's around 120k miles.

My E30 has 210k miles.
Yeap its km not miles so dont get all excited now. WE measure things a little differnt here in CA. But anyways thats a lot of clicks on yours for sure

Keep them coming guys, great info. Hope my convert motors do not have a problem. Tension strings kinda suck, had 2 break on the vert. A combat boot lace works great as a fix so far. Silicone fixed my roof leaks also.[;)]

Cool thing about here is you can find inexpensive fixes for problems. Now if we could just get some more posts in out E36 forum.[;)]

Silicon works great for holding things on the interior in place. My car doesn't like to stay in one piece. Take for example the piece that goes between the windsheild and the door. The piece that covers up the wires and frame fell off one day. I got some double sided tape and some silicon. I put it back on and drove around for a couple days with my windows open b/c the silicon isn't that great smelling.

Bought it June 2002. with 62K now has 86K

Sunroof material disconnected and is now stuck in the roof...any ideas ?
Lifter and or Injector clicking every now and again at start up and goes away.
Passenger seat does not move front to back.
Vibration in the front....I'm guessing water in the tire cause it goes away after they heat up.

Check engine light is on.....blew 8 codes....I'm guessing its connected to the clicking and the faults are in memory.
Airbag light is on too.

Yes I do drive a lot.

I make around 140,000 per year. Im allways on the road. I work with special BMW upgrade parts and it requires driving. Im so into driving that even I' am not working I go for a drive anyway. And the miles just keep coming. But the car is Awsome. It still runs perfect.

Have a great day.
