10/91 320i clocking 190K
Just clocked over to 190K.
Currently replacing:
Front Struts and Bump Stops
Rear Shocks and Bump Stops
Control Arm Bushes
New set of rubber
Previous work:
Blower fan motor (blown thermal fuse which I removed)
Crazy speedometer (poor contact to circuit board)
New Boot lid and tail light assembly (my boss backed into it)
AC regas
Windscreen (rock from passing truck)
Front bumper (high wheel stop in parking lot)
Pillar covers fell off (screwed in place)
New CD controller and 10 Stacker
New Alarm with central locking
A couple of Fog Light assemblies (them bloody trucks again)
Water pump (replaced under warranty)
Usual consumables (tyres, pads, filters, globes...)
Still goes like the clappers, I was thinking of 'upgrading' to E46 but I will probably stick with the old girl for a bit longer. The brake discs will be the next thing to be replaced. Also noticed a bit of oil leaking around the main seal, could be expensive.
Still regularly pulling 160clicks when late for work.
