Will an M3 Automatic Trans Fit in My 325i?

I have a 1992 325i four speed automatic and there might be a chance for me to purchase an automatic five speed transmission out of a 1998 M3. Would this transmission it on my car with little or no modification? I'm assuming I'd have to also find a new transmission computer to replace my current one?

no i do not think that it wil work if u just plop it in.
well im pretty sure, but i do think its possible with other modifications like torque converter and such. bc the rev range is different and also the wheel size.
