Will Sept-production cars with Nav get mp3-capable CD player?

From my understanding, the current 3-series cars with Navigation will not play MP3-encoded CDs (whereas the non-Nav cars will).

I've read that this will be corrected with the September production cars. Has anyone heard anything definitive about this?

(I've got a 330xi on order...getting ready to trade in my 2004 Acura TL....)
