Will these Rims and Tires fit?

Interested in putting 19x8.5's with a 35mm offset on the rear with 255/35/19's on them will this fit or will it rub?.. My fenders are already rolled a little I think.. I already have the tires.. just havent bought the rims yet.. thanks for any help!

I've been reading here for a few months and can't remember anyone trying to stick 19" on their e36. I'm betting big rub.

Just checked deeper and found flyinH has 19" see http://www.bmwboard.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=682
down the page. Looks like rolling is required and I think you're still sticking on a bigger tire than he did.

my dads E34 M5 has 255/40/17 tires at the rear and there is such a small ammout of clearance they almost rub. with 19's your going to be pushing your luck without rolling the arches.

i have seen that already, not sure about offset though. but be sure you have to do some body work. and very important to lower the car as much as possible as the wheels will lift the car from the ground and that looks bad. i really would try to got with 18" as it is just big enough and rare enough.

what wadula said,... get 18's. they look real slick and fit perfectly fine without rubbing i've heard.

19s will fit with no body work whatsoever. do research on the net for e36 bmws with MVR rims. i dont know about the offset. But i do know that the 19 mvr's have ben put on e36's. in fact i am in the process of getting 4.

19" fit with no work? funny, did you see wolpis car? that one has the E46 M3 rims in 18" and he had to do work on the rear fenders. how can 19" fit then without? yes the offset is an issue but that much of a difference. i'm really surprised!

255's won't fit in the back especially with 19's without some coercing.i had 235's, and those rubbed bad whenever i hit any road irregularity that was higher than 1mm.massive fender rolling and hacking will be needed to fit 255's.it also depends on how lowered you are.but if you're willing to get them to fit,a 19x10 looks sweeeeeeeet in the back of an E36.
