Hey guys, I have noticed that there is this banging noise coming from my right rear wheel. I thought it was the bearing on the axle since that is what usually causes that noise. The faster I got, the louder and more frequent the noise becomes. Today I lifted the rear right side of the car and tried shaking the wheel (someone told me that is how I check if the bearing is bad) but it stood without moving in any direction at all! I rotated the wheel and noticed that there is this screetching (not really, but sound like something is robbing against something else) noise that comes in a certain place and becomes stronger at one point and then goes away and all over again. It feels like the rotors are bad (I know they are because of the vibration when braking) but I'm getting it fixed (replacing the pads too) as soon as I get the insurance card so I can go through inspection the same day. Does anyone have any idea if the vibration and the banging noise is the "warped" rotor? I wish it is because it would solve the problem without extra money. Any ideas at all? Thanks in advance, you've been really helpfull.
