ok, found out that they're "Fuzion Zri" 245's in the 18"... does that ring any bells? i think i'm going to get those when my protenza's wear out, cuz i've heard great things about the fuzions.

a lot of guys on the rx8 forum have the 18" kumos and like them better than the stock 18" lp bridgestone protenza's.. a couple guys i know got another brand made by bridgestone that they say grip like glue. i'm asking them and will post back when i find out what those are.

just fyi, the rx-8 club has reduced our meets around malibu/ pch- due to the severe increase in police presence there... there's been a lot of media coverage due to high profile accidents from the enzo & other exotic car crashes. and, those boneheads have basically ruined the fun of these runs...

hmm... the side (profile) view doesn't look as nice compared to straight-on from the front or the rear for some reason. maybe it's 'cuz the panel lines are offset or the body is too long? (it reminds me of the previous generation honda civic coupe- esp the tail lights.) not quite sure, but...

it'll look nice & clean after it's painted... w/o the lip. :)

lol... gotta give the guy cr for creativity. could've done a better job with the design tho. it looks kinda cheap, which givesaway that it's a fake. if someone made an authentic looking one, i'm sure many ppl would buy it. :)

yes- thank you. i totally agree. there IS such a thing as overdesigning console controls. and, this is why i've been somewhat disspointed in the direction bmw has been going on the newer models. heck, just look at Mercedes' consoles. i don't need freaking 6 different options to turn on...
