my advice is to sit down w/ a (knowledgeable & honest) service rep at the dealership and go through- in detail- what's covered under the extended warranty and compare that with the scheduled maintenance schedule in your owners manual. have them evaluate- based on their experience- which items...

i saw one of the ads, and it was really exciting to watch... that said, u'd never know that we invaded an oil-rich country by the prices at the pumps the past few years.

hmm- i recall being initially frustrated by this too... but, after i tinkered with it some, the cover came off really easily. so, there was a simple clip-release mechanism. just keep tinkering- maybe move the carpet aside- and it will become obvious. as far as batteries go- i recommend...

i think part of the front bumper trim is a plastic strip that has a flat plastic surface for where the license plate goes. it should have holes drilled already for screws. if not, u should be able to find a replacement one at the dealer parts dept.

[hah] D'OH! so bill gates' story about cars becoming as reliable as computers (someday) finally manifested itself in a bmw?! M$ keeps me employed, but there is something seriously wrong with bmw if they think they'll get a reliable iDrive system running ANY flavor of windoze... [:(]

yes. if u don't challenge the infringement, over time it's like silently saying yes to sharing the name. i always thought mazda should've sued lexus over the use of RX for similar reasons.
