Anyway, it would have been an amazing coincidence if the intermittent problem disappeared just when the ignition had been on for 45 seconds before cranking the engine. The only way to find out is to take a connector off and try again, but I'm a bit busy at the moment! If we carry this argument on for a few more weeks I might just have to try it...
