I was under the impression that they did not have CDVs on M series cars but maybe some do (obviously). Yeah and at the dealership, they call it a "lock valve" on the parts list.
As far as just removing it, some people don't recommend that because it changes the angle at which the fluid line attatches to the clutch housing by shortening the line, therefore causing possibilitity of a stress crack in the line. If you're careful I suppose you can make it work.
Yeah I burned my clutch out right after I bought my car used because it was old AND it would not engage fast enough and therefore burned out from fast shifting acceleration. Now, that thing will bite hard and fast and tear into the pavement. Woohooo!
