Ignition Switch Help Needed

Does anyone know how to remove the ignition cylinder from a 95 318i? Can't find any info anywhere.

I don't know if its the same as on a E30 (your car is an E36)... the E36 board might help you more than us.

Not sure if this applicable to yours but I found it on another forum;

If you turn the ignition to the accessory position, you should be able to see a tiny hole at the end of the ignition cylinder. Push a piece of stiff wire into the hole. That should release the cylinder and it should slide right out.
