depending on the shop... sounds like and inspection 2... MOST of this can be a DIY...
most of this is check for leaks, check fluids, replace fluids, replace air filters, etc (like described in earlier posts) - MOST of this can be accomplished by a novice mechanic with access to a decent set of tools (torque wrench , jacks, stands, slider, left handed monkey wrenches, etc)
For a tune up specifically... change plugs, filters, change fluid systems (brake, coolant, oil, check differential or change if applicable) etc
You can spend 1-200 on the parts, buy some decent tools for 1-200 and have those tools to do it again in the future (oil, plugs, etc)
Pull the wheels, check brake pad thickness, etc good tools to have in a box IMHO
Imagine doing a FULL brake swap for about 300 for all NEW parts, etc... If you have a freind who has done SOME of these things before... buy them some beer (after the work) and make an afternoon out of iT
